摘要：This paper aims to explore the problems existing in Chinese college students’ spoken English. Based on analysis of micro-linguistic features in spoken discourse, the features of written language in students’ conversation are analyzed from the viewpoints of lexis and lexicogrammar respectively and color descriptors are investigated based on metarphor theory.The results of the study prove that Chinese college English learners tend to overuse the formal words in conversation and intend to remain conjunction after verbs in their spoken language.
