- 摘要：Abstract: This paper gives a brief view of communicative competence and explains how to develop students’ communicative competence in English Teaching. Recent developments in foreign language education have indicated a trend towards the development of communicative competence among foreign language students. Teachers expect students will learn to interpret and produce meaning with members of the target culture. After communicative competence are introduced into the English teaching, students can see their capabilities and become more self-confident, students’ grammatical foundation has been strengthened and pay attention not only to the fluent use of English but also to the accuracy of expression.
