Abstract:Molecular distillation technology, also known as short-range thin-film distillation technology, can achieve the high vacuum state of continuous non-equilibrium liquid-Process [1], [2] through the difference of the different average free path of light and heavy molecules. The technology has the characteristics of low distillation temperature, short heating time and high separation degree, which is suitable for the separation of high boiling point, heat sensitive and high viscosity materials and is widely used in food, medicine, oil processing and petrochemical industry [3]~[5]. Molecular distillation equipment can be divided into static, falling film, scraping film and centrifugal four [6]. Now, the wiped film molecular distillation is the most widely used scientific research and industrial production. It has some work features that when the material from the feed into the mouth, by using the high-speed scraper rotation the uniform and thin liquid film can be formed and updated, so that the liquid film and the heating surface have enough contact and enhanced the evaporation effect. Factors affecting the purity and yield of the material that need to be purified are the speed of wiped film motor, feed speed, distillation temperature, pressure and so on, and there are coupling between the parameters. Besides the system model will be different if adapting the different kind of equipments. So it is difficult to establish the accurate and general mathematical model, which can effectively control the production process of the molecular distillation.
